DuPont Refinish introduces PercoTop®, the light industry coatings range to replace the brand’s industrial range, Imron® Industry, which is currently being phased out of production. PercoTop® offers bodyshops the ability to diversify into coating other light industrial items; a financially beneficial additional service to vehicle refinishing. Upon depletion of Imron® Industry stocks, new PercoTop® products will be available with a complete switch over envisaged in the course of 2013.

31/8/2012New CV epoxy primer surfacer from DuPont Refinish completes range
DuPont Refinish launches P7W Primepox in white, which completes the existing range of P7B Primepox black and P7 Primepox off-white. P7W is a fully compliant, chromate-free, two-component epoxy primer surfacer for commercial vehicles and trailers. Its addition allows refinishers to mix all seven shades of the ValueShade® concept, helping them increase productivity, save on topcoat material and ensure a superior finish.

21/6/2012DuPont Refinish to discontinue leaded
DuPont Refinish will discontinue the inclusion of leaded pigments in all of its refinish paint products by the end of 2012. All passenger car formulas have already been converted while all remaining commercial vehicle lead-containing topcoats – Centari® MasterTint® and Imron® PowerTint® ranges - are in the process of being phased out and converted to lead-free formulas, so that bodyshops will immediately have access to alternatives.

DuPont Refinish introduces a new Universal Polyester Putty in both tin and cartridge version– 759R/759Rc - which replaces the discontinued Filling Polyester Putty 749R/749Rc with immediate effect. The new 759R/759Rc is a modified polyester polymer-based, two-component filling and finishing putty that requires activating with a peroxide hardener.
